Joshua Garcia and on-screen partner Julia Barretto once again made fans feel giddy after the young actor covered the latter’s skirt in the recent episode of ‘ASAP Chillout,’ the youth-oriented segment of the Sunday variety show.

At the start of the show, Julia was seen wearing a short leather skirt which made Joshua feel conscious of her state as she could not sit properly. Joshua attempted to lend his denim jacket to the actress but she declined and insisted she was okay.

Segment hosts, Sue Ramirez and Alora Sasam, jested: “Walang mangyayaring interview unless mag-usap sila. So, ikaw, mag-usap naman tayo Sue.”

A studio crew put a higher chair on Julia’s end, though Joshua was still not convinced it would prevent her from any wardrobe malfunction. Julia tried to fix her skirt while Joshua was looking at the front camera to check if it’d be okay once Julia sits down.

“Wala eh. Protective [si] Joshua eh,” Alora said.

The host then turned to the actor and said, “Okay na, Josh? Josh, pwede na kayo ma-interview?”

The love team then decided to now take a seat as Julia slowly, and cautiously sat down. Joshua pulled his seat closer and blocked the actress’ skirt. The audience was then heard screaming a collective ‘aww’ after witnessing the actor’s sense of chivalry.

Meanwhile, the Kapamilya tandem’s romantic movie, “Love You To The Stars And Back,” is still showing in cinemas nationwide. The film was released last August 30, 2017 and was written and directed by Antoinette Jadaone.

On the first week of its release, LYSB already amassed P60 million of earnings. Further, it obtained affirmative review from Rappler’s Oggs Cruz and praised the couple for their brilliant performance, calling them "astute and delightful."
