This Old Woman Desperately Wants to Bring Her Husband to a Hospital but Look at All She Has at Her Disposal!

What would you do if you saw an old woman in the streets? Most of us would probably ignore her or at the least, walk by and continue to go on with our lives. But what if you saw an old woman who’s pushing a “kariton” with her husband on it?

This was what the Facebook page of ‘All about the Philippines‘ encountered. According to them, people should read and share those kinds of posts on social media because the old woman needed help. As of this writing, their status has been liked 1.7 thousand times, shared on other people’s timelines around 5,655 times, and commented on 152 times.

Their post was accompanied by pictures and a video to show the old woman’s plight. She was traveling with her husband with two dogs. According to them, she wanted to take her husband to the nearest hospital so he could be cured or treated. However, she only has a “kariton” with her to act as their means of transportation.

The one who personally encountered her got to interview her, to which she said that she doesn’t have the enough financial resources to pay the individual after he/she offered to help her.

The individual said that he/she was particularly touched by the old woman’s sheer determination and perseverance to have her husband treated, even though she only has a “kariton” with her.

Apart from that, he/she was overwhelmed because, despite her age, she still has the heart to do a physically taxing activity that involves her pushing the “kariton,” which only young and strong people normally do.

Judging from the picture, the old woman was encountered by the individual somewhere along the streets of Manila, where the Light Rail Transit System (LRT-1) plies.

As of this writing, no other updates have been given on the page about her and her husband. Meanwhile, the page strongly urged its readers and netizens to spread the post so that she may be helped immediately.
