She reportedly became suspicious when her husband would disappear once a week for several hours without contacting her.
The woman asked her mother and auntie to join her when she followed the man to a small rented flat he was using to romp with his 'little third' girlfriend - a Chinese term for a mistress.
The wife, who has not been identified, walked the younger woman down the stairs and into the street in Yibin provincial city, Sichuan province, China, last month.
She’s seen walking slowly before tempers boil over and onlookers have to interfere. Chichi Chan, who recorded the clip, said: "Nobody has sympathy for the woman that gets caught doing this with another woman’s husband.
"She was accepting of her punishment because she knows that she did the wrong thing. "It is a good warning for other people not to do this. "People should be afraid of what the consequences are."
