Image
A Florida dad will not face charges after he took the law into his own hands and beat up a teen he caught raping his son. The 35-year-old father, who police and the media are not identifying by name, found 18-year-old nextdoor neighbor Raymond Frolander in a compromising position with his 11-year-old kid around 1 a.m. on Friday. "I didn't proceed to ask him any questions sir," the father told the 911 dispatcher after he beat Frolander unconscious and left him in a pool of blood. "He is nice and knocked out on the floor for you. I drug him out to the living room." "Send an ambulance," he told the dispatcher. "He is going to need one." When asked by the dispatcher if any weapons were involved, the father said, "my foot and my fist." Frolander allegedly admitted to the abuse, which the child said started three years ago. Woman trapped in elevator for a month starved to death before found

Image
Two maintenance workers have been charged with the death of a woman whose body was found after she was trapped in an elevator for a month in central China. Two servicemen were called to an apartment building in Xi’an, China on January 30 to fix a broken elevator. When they discovered the elevator’s cable was broken, the workers reportedly banged on the door. After hearing no response, the men cut off power to the elevator, reported the BBC. However, a 43-year-old resident who has only been identified by her surname, Wu, was inside the carriage at the time. The Chinese New Year holiday delayed work on the elevator, which ended up being stuck between the building’s 10th and 11th floors for a month. Servicemen who returned to fix the elevator on March 1 discovered the victim’s body inside, along with scratch marks on the wall. According to the Los Angeles Times, the woman’s hands were also mangled from trying to pry open the doors. The government said that the maintenance wo...

Real Life Zombie? Woman mistakenly pronounced dead wakes up inside her coffin

Image
In Germany an undertaker was shocked when one of his clients pushed open the coffin lid and asked where she was. In fact, he was so shocked, he passed out. After returning to his senses, the man realized it wasn’t the start of the zombie apocalypse and called emergency services. Paramedics arrived and confirmed that the 92 year old woman did indeed have a pulse. She was then rushed to hospital where she died ‘again’ 2 days later. The nursing home staff were interviewed and questioned how one of their resident came to be diagnosed as ‘dead’ when she in fact, wasn’t. One of the staff had reportedly discovered the elderly woman in the morning and contacted their local on staff doctor to check on her. The doctor pronounced her death and arrangements were made to move the elderly woman’s body to the morgue, where the undertaker got the shock of his life. Hopefully, the 92 year old grandmother won’t have a moment of deja vu, waking up in a coffin. Again.

The wife, who has not been identified, walked the younger woman down the stairs and into the street in Yibin provincial city, Sichuan province, Chin...

Rapper gets shot in head, records selfie: Teriq Royal records selfie after bullet wounds

Image
For most people, if you get shot in the head and are still standing, you'd probably get yourself to a hospital as quick as possible. That is unless you have the opportunity to film a selfie video first, which is what Compton rapper Teriq Royal did. Apparently the Compton rapper was in the vicinity of a shooting in which he claims an AK-47 was used. Teriq and some friends were at a gas station when he and a friend were hit in the heads with some bullet fragments. Luckily the fragments didn't penetrate his skull and get to his brain, but instead of getting to a hospital, he instead decided to first shoot a selfie video so he could post it up onto Facebook. The footage shows Teriq with blood streaming down his face talking on one phone, while he films the video with another phone where he tells the camera, "I got shot." One of his friends then appears in the video also with blood running down his face. After the incident he posted on Facebook, "Yes me and ...

Cell Phone Radiation: 10 Ways to Reduce Your Exposure

Image
The World Health Organization just came out and said cell phones may cause cancer, listing them in the same category as lead, engine exhaust, and chloroform. Now, the jury is still out on whether cellphones pose a serious risk. But we do know that they emit radiation, which ain't a good thing. Here are the top 10 ways to reduce your exposure. 1. Use speakerphone or a headset Speakerphone is ideal. Using a headset is better than holding the phone against your face. But radiation still passes through both bluetooth and wired earpieces. A safer option is an "air tube" earpiece. Instead of using a radiation-conducting wire all the way from phone to brain, these sets deliver sound through a tube. 2. Carry the phone away from your body The best way to avoid exposure is to hold the cellphone away from the head or body. Carry your phone in your bag, purse, in a wagon - anywhere except in your pocket or on your belt where soft body tissues can absorb radiation. 3. Textin...
